AN INTERVIEW WITH FIREBOY DML AT LONDON

London was abuzz when Fireboy DML, one of Nigeria’s biggest music stars, visited the city recently. The talented artist, whose real name is Adedamola Adefolahan, was in town to perform a sold-out show and to meet with fans. We were lucky enough to get the chance to sit down with Fireboy for an exclusive interview.

The conversation began with an exploration of Fireboy’s musical influences. He revealed that his sound is a fusion of various genres, from afrobeats to R&B and soul. He went on to explain that he draws inspiration from artists like Fela Kuti, Burna Boy, and Wizkid, but also from international acts like Chris Brown, Drake, and Trey Songz.

We asked Fireboy why he chose London as the location for his show. He replied that London is one of the most vibrant cities in the world and he was excited to perform for the city’s incredible music fans. He noted that the response from Londoners was overwhelming and he was happy to be able to reach so many people with his music.

Finally, we asked Fireboy what he hopes to achieve with his music. He told us that he wants to create music that resonates with people from all walks of life and to inspire them to follow their dreams. He also hopes to use his platform to promote African culture and to bring people together through music.
