Fireboy DML is a Nigerian singer and songwriter from Ogun State, Nigeria. He is currently signed to Olamide's YBNL Nation record label.

BACKGROUND: Born Adedamola Adefolahan, Fireboy DML was born on the 5th of February 1996 in Abeokuta, Ogun State. He is the fourth child in a family of six. He attended Abeokuta Grammar School, for his secondary school education and then proceeded to the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) for his tertiary education. He graduated with a degree in English Studies.

LIFESTYLE: Fireboy DML is a reserved but confident individual who loves to express himself through music. He believes in the power of hard work and dedication and puts all of his energy into his music. Fireboy DML is a lover of good music and has a great appreciation for the music of the likes of 2baba, Asa and Wizkid.

MUSICAL CAREER: Fireboy DML's music career began in May 2019, when he released his first single 'Jealous'. His single went on to become a huge success, leading to him signing to Olamide's YBNL Nation label. He went on to release his debut album 'Laughter, Tears and Goosebumps' in November 2019. The album was well-received by fans and critics alike, and became one of the most streamed Nigerian albums of the year. Fireboy DML has since gone on to release a number of hit singles, like 'What If I Say', 'Scatter' and 'Vibration'. He has also featured in a number of collaborations with other artists, including Olamide, Reminisce and Tiwa Savage. Fireboy DML's music style is often described as a blend of Afrobeats, alternative R&B and soft rock.
